A: No. You can phone for an appointment directly.
Q: Does Medicare pay a rebate?
Sometimes. If you have certain chronic conditions your GP may put you on a care plan. Once this has been established you can have a maximum of five podiatry visits in the year where a rebate is given. This is at the discretion of your GP.
Q: Do you treat Veteran Affairs patients?
A: Yes. As long as the patient has a DVA gold card and a referral from their GP.
Q: Is Podiatry covered by my private health fund?
A: Yes. Depending on your level of cover. You will need to ask your individual health insurer.If you are covered, Hicaps is used which allows you to claim on the spot.
Q: Do you make custom orthotics?
A: Yes. We make custom orthotics as well as “off the shelf”orthotics. Both are covered by private health funds. You should check with your health insurer to confirm what you are covered for.
Q: Do you have an EFTPOS facility?
A: Yes.
